As the owner and Executive Chef of Decadent Catering since 1997, Michael intimately understands the Toronto food and event landscape, and along with the Decadent Catering team, prides himself on designing menus and events to accommodate every budget, style and taste.
His conscientious style and adherence to classical French fine dining was honed in the finest restaurants in Europe, where he trained in Five Star establishments for four years before returning to his native Toronto.
Michael’s philosophy is built on the belief that you can only cook the best food with the best ingredients, and he strives to use fresh, seasonal and sustainable ingredients whenever possible. It’s a philosophy you can taste, and one that keeps clients returning over and over again.
Eva Tran | Sous Chef
Eva Tran has been with Decadent Catering since 2003 as Sous Chef, and has over 30 years experience in the catering field.
Eva’s culinary skills and techniques are unparalleled and she is the lead of our in-house brigade of chefs.
As she is a true perfectionist, Eva is often the head of service at our private parties and corporate events. Eva is committed to ensuring each event is an outstanding success and enjoys interacting with our clients through to their total satisfaction.
Carol MacColl | Director of Sales & Marketing
Carol has immersed herself in the catering & event design industry for over 20 years.
Having owned her own event planning and design company for over 10 years, Carol has a vast knowledge of cuisine, event creation and management.
Carol is detailed and meticulous from start to finish, and is committed to keeping events within budget. She is driven to exceed your expectations.
Carol is passionate about food, drink and entertaining, and is a total ‘foodie’. She loves to share her passion and will be more than happy to help and discuss the finer details of your event.
Tara Duff | Director of Catering Services
Tara Duff has been with Decadent Catering since 2015 and is an integral part of the Decadent Catering team!
Tara’s previous experience was within the music industry, where she honed her skills in the areas of Customer Service, Sales and Marketing Management. Tara has great attention to detail and strives to exceed customer expectations. She works closely with our Executive Chef to create menus to suit clients’ tastes and budgets.
Tara cares deeply about ensuring our clients are completely satisfied with both the food and service provided by Decadent Catering.

Erika Belgue joined our team in the fall of 2016, and Decadent Catering has been incredibly organized every since!
Erika came to us with a wealth of experience as a former Legal Assistant and Office Manager.
Not only is Erika passionate about the incredible food we offer, she is keen to make every experience with Decadent a seamless one, with her great attention to detail.
